Since 2004, after his Personnel & Organisation studies, Wessel Koning has been active in employment services, at the Randstad organisation among other companies. Wessel has been active in the field of highly skilled migrants since 2011, first as a sales manager at a contract handler, and from late 2012 at a payroll specialist, where he set up the services for highly skilled migrants.

After five successful and informative years at this payroll organisation, he left the organisation in early 2017 to take a sabbatical. He became commercial manager at Uniforce Professionals on 1 January 2020.
